Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Washington Wizards

Place: Gund Arena, Cleveland, OH
Time: 7:00 p.m. EST
TV/Radio: No TV/ WTAM 1100 AM

Projected Starting Cavaliers Lineup:

PG: LeBron James
SG: Ricky Davis
SF: Darius Miles
PF: Carlos Boozer
C:  Zydrunas Ilgauskas

Cavaliers outlook: The Cavaliers are coming an impressive 102-87 over a Lakers team with Shaquille O"Neal.  The game saw LeBron James take on more PG duties and the result was the most fluid offensive performance of the preseason.  As a team the Cavaliers are looking to improve on their turnovers and shooting by gaining continuity in their halfcourt offense as the regular season approaches.

Cavaliers Injuries: SG DaJuan Wagner (torn meniscus) is out.  SF Ira Newble (patella tendinitis) is not expected to play.

Projected Wizards Starting Lineups:

PG: Gilbert Arenas
SG: Jarvis Hayes
SF: Jared Jeffries
PF: Kwame Brown
C:  Brendan Haywood

Wizards outlook: The Wizards are starting over after the bitter end of the Michael Jordan era in Washington.  They have a new GM in Ernie Grunfeld and a new coach in Eddie Jordan who brings with him the derivative of the Princeton offense he learned in Sacramento and took to New Jersey as an assistant coach.  On the court over the summer the team landed coveted free agent guard Gilbert Arenas and signed All Star SG Jerry Stackhouse to a contract extension.  The team is expected former no. 1 overall pick Kwame Brown to begin to blossom without the heavy handed pressure of Michael Jordan and former coach Doug Collins.  The Wizards come into tonight's game with a preseason record of 2-4.

Wizards Injuries: SG/SF Jerry Stackhouse (knee surgery) is out.  SG Larry Hughes (sore Achilles' tendon) is doubtful.
