It always seems that someone can always come and interrupt your fun. It's been announced that due to NBA rules of only allowing 8 pre-season games that the scrimmage in Toledo will be cancelled. The intra-squad wine and gold scrimmage was to be held at Savage Hall on Oct. 5th with the proceeds going to the Toledo's athletic scholarship fund. The team will now make a donation to the fund. In a press release from the Cavaliers.
"We were notified by the NBA that the open scrimmage event, with a charge for admission, would constitute a ninth preseason
game". Now the Cavaliers will now spend all of their training camp at Gund Arena.
